Air Leak Surveys
Compressed air is energy. Leaking air lines, couplings and hoses are simply put, sources of energy waste. The majority of companies have a leakage rate of more than 20%. Apart from being completely unnecessary it is expensive and contributes to your CO2 emissions. With a leakage management programme it is fully possible to achieve a leakage rate of less than 5%
Advantiv use the latest state of the art technology to identify areas where air leakage is costing you money. The survey is carried out independently and a report generated on the findings highlighting areas where repair needs to be carried out. As Advantiv are also a Festo Premier Network Partner and can also help provide the necessary ancillary equipment to help rectify the problems and also carry out the remedial works if necessary.

If we don’t find leakages in your compressed air or gas system equivalent of our fee, we won’t charge you, it is that simple. Even if you have your own equipment or have what you believe is a working in-house system our No gain - No pay offer still applies. We know that you can find leakages on your own but with state-of the art ultra-sonic equipment and experience we usually find considerably more. At the same time we will provide you with the necessary documentation for quick repair. We cover 5-7.000 M2 of normal production area per day, in most cases the survey is paid for within the first hour.
Steam Loss Surveys
Live-steam losses caused by leaky steam traps represent a major economic factor, since – apart from the technical consequences – they cause the operating costs of a plant to escalate seriously. On average only 63% of steam traps on a site are actually functioning correctly, of the 37% that are not approx 6% are blocked, 13% set up incorrectly and importantly 18% are leaking. An average leaking steam trap will lose £865 of steam per year, this equates to over £31,000 p.a. when considering only the 18% of a trap population of only 200 traps. These figures are accurate based on a representative survey of over 22000 traps that have been currently surveyed. Regular maintenance and trap testing can cut this failure rate down to about 5 %.
Advantiv have again teamed up with one of the market leaders in steam trap technology offering on site steam surveys to assess steam trap populations and identify where losses exist. 
The equipment allows steam traps of all makes and types to be checked and assessed for more than just steam loss. In addition, the PC software makes it possible to estimate the steam losses caused by traps not functioning properly, and also provides an economic analysis, demonstrating where cost savings can be made.
