Able to withstand extreme temperatures (-90°C up to +260°C) they can be used in multiple applications and are an ideal alternative to Mechanical Seals and Braided / Gland Packings.
Under working conditions, the PTFE Shaft Seals outperform Radial Shaft Seals as their lips are made from modified PTFE rather than the traditional elastomer materials. This helps keep the abrasive and aggressive media sealed.
